FILM REVIEW-2: THE PRESTIGE BY CHRISTOPHER NOLAN

Film Name: The Prestige
Director: Christopher Nolan

Two magician friends Alan Borden(Christian Bale) and Robert Angier(Hugh Jackman) become bitter enemies after a tragic accident. They go to several extents in their rivalries to achieve fame.
Set in 1860s London, Borden and Angier are two magicians who work under the mentorship John Cutter(Michael Caine), an engineer who sets stage magic.
After the incident,Borden seperated himself from Angier and Cutter and started his own carrier.
Borden develops a trick called 'The Transported Man', which gave him an edge over Angier. Hence this trick became the source of Angier's displeasure and jealousy.
This film is a classic example of Nolan's style of filmmaking, which is all about the complex storyline and keeps you hooked till the end and then traps you into a maze.
If you're into mind-boggling sci-fi films which keep a maze for you to solve. This film is for you.
