Andrew Neyman(Miles Teller) is an ambitious young Drummer who idolizes Buddy Rich, enrolls himself into the East Coast Music Conservatory. He is mentored by Terence Fletcher(J.K Simmons) who leads the top jazz ensemble. Fletcher is known for his teaching talents and terrifying methods. He pushes Andrew to the brinks of sanity and ability, changing his life forever.
This film is an inspirational one narrating the journey of a dream which requires discipline, pushing yourselves to the limit and being focussed. It is a must watch for not only the musicians but also anyone who has a dream they want to fulfill.

Film Name: The Prestige Director: Christopher Nolan Two magician friends Alan Borden(Christian Bale) and Robert Angier(Hugh Jackman) become bitter enemies after a tragic accident. They go to several extents in their rivalries to achieve fame. BOOK REVIEW-2 : THE AFGHAN BY FREDERICK FORSYTH

Book Name: The Afghan Author: Frederick Forsyth This book is about an MI6 spy who infiltrates the depth of Al Qaeda to investigate about a terrorist attack codenamed Al-Isra. Mike Martin is a veteran of the Afghan War who during his tenure Afganistan learned the ways and the language of Pashtos. Mike is an imposter by the name Izamat Khan(who is a terrorist imprisoned in Guatemala prison) who infiltrates the Al Qaeda. Forsyth genuinely portrays the lack of scientific education in the Pashto Hills turns the young minds prey to the religious fanaticism and in the end turning out to be aggressive killers. It also shows the corruption in the authorities heading and controlling these terrorist organizations and also their connection with the Arab World of Rich and Powerful. Overall, this spy thriller has a real and humane feeling . Forsyth does a good job by connecting the dots to give a dramatic end to the story.
